The Parliament @ Work is for teachers and students and provides information about current State, Territory and Commonwealth parliamentarians and electorates. For each electorate census data and the latest election results are provided. There is also information about every parliament in Australia and about major political parties

The National Archives of Australia Documenting a Democracy website provides access to the 110 key documents that are the foundation of our nation.

Civics and Citizenship

Civics and Citizenship Education website

The Civics and citizenship website contains resources, information, activities and links for teachers, students and parents involved in civics and citizenship education. Civics and citizenship education promotes students' participation in Australia's democracy by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, values and dispositions of active and informed citizenship.

CensusAtSchool

The CensusAtSchool initiative supports the development of statistical literacy in Australian students. Students (Years 5-10) can collect real statistical information about themselves for use across the curriculum.
