News Centre

The News Centre contains:

• media releases
• speeches by the Prime Minister, and
• transcripts of interviews with the Prime Minister

Transcripts are added to the News Centre as soon as practicable after an interview, speech or broadcast. Media release transcripts are added as the releases are issued.

Searching the News Centre

News content can be accessed in two ways:

1. Browse the Current Year

News content for the current year can be browsed by Date, Category or Type.

• Date: select the 'Date' button in the 'Browse 2008 Content' section to access a list of transcripts grouped by month.
• Category: select the 'Category' button in the 'Browse 2008 Content' section to access a list of transcripts grouped by Category. Some transcripts may appear in a number of categories, and some may not fall into any of the assigned categories. Those not assigned can be accessed through the other browsing options such as Date and/or Type.)
• Type: select the 'Type' button in the 'Browse 2008 Content' section to access a list of transcripts by type. Transcripts are grouped by Media Releases, Speeches or Interviews.

2. Search all Content

To search all media content use the search box and drop down lists in the 'Media Centre Search'
